Joey is a board-certified sports clinical specialist and currently works for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, treating student-athletes at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
He obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2021, where he had the fortunate opportunities to learn from renowned ACL experts Mike Reinold, Lenny Macrina, and Zach Baker.
He completed a Sports Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland in 2022 where he was able to receive extensive education regarding ACL rehabilitation. Joey played Division 1 baseball at Northeastern University where a significant back injury sparked his passion for returning athletes back to their sport.
